Meeting Highlights - June 3, 2017

Meeting was opened

The meeting was opened and the Pledge of Allegiance was lead by President, Mike O'Reilly

New attendees and new members were welcomed

We did not have a guest speaker this month

Old Business

Mary Ruthe read the May minutes and Sue presented the Treasurers report for May. Both were approved.

Winners of the June Yard of the Month were announced. The winner of the dry lot was Clarence Petier and Amy and Terry Larner were the winners of the canal lot.

Sue reported for the Planting Committee and gave an update on the Memorial Bricks Project. The design for the pathway at the pavilion is complete and meetings with contractors are underway.

New Business

Penny and Donna updated on SIPOA elections and discussed results of the vote related to membership dues.

Brian discussed plans for this year's Patriotic Parade which will be held Saturday, July 1st. Registration is at 10am and the parade will begin at 11am.
